The Moti Mahal story
Moti Mahal began in Peshawar in the 1920s and moved to Daryaganj, Delhi, after Partition, where Kundan Lal Gujral's tandoori kitchen made its name. The Rishikesh restaurant keeps the recipes and serves them as a vegetarian menu. Its sister restaurant is Moti Mahal in Connaught Place.
